You need the Can edit rosters permission. Add your team and their roles first so Weekli can show suitable people and calculate estimated costs.

  1. Open Admin, then Rosters.
  2. Choose a start date that matches the Roster start date in Settings.
  3. Select Create roster. The new roster remains unpublished while you work on it.
  4. Select Edit beside the new roster.
  5. Enter the Start Time, End time, Break, Day and, when needed, Role and a note.
  6. Select Add for each shift the week requires. You can also select Load template to add shifts from an existing template without deleting shifts already in the roster.
  7. Select an unassigned shift and choose an available person. Repeat until the required shifts are covered.
  1. Check the issue indicator for unassigned shifts, shifts with no available users, and shifts whose cost cannot be calculated.
  2. Review Estimated total cost. This estimate depends on role rates and the pay multipliers in Settings.
  3. Return to Rosters when the draft is ready.
  4. Select Publish beside the roster.

The roster is now published and employees can see their assigned shifts. Editing or deleting a published roster can alert affected employees, so recheck the week before making later changes.
